United Methodist Women

March Event in Little Rock Postponed!

Dear South Central Jurisdiction attendee,
We are so grateful for our committed members and leaders while dealing with this extraordinary health concern taking place around our country and the world. We pray for those women, children and youth who will be deeply affected by the changes coming to our communities with potential infection, loss of jobs, loss of income and other forms of support. We continue to pray for good mental health and safety of all those who are on the front lines of this pandemic.
Last Friday you received notice that we have decided to postpone and attempt to reschedule the South Central Jurisdiction Meeting. Another Press Release went out last night stating that we are working on the same plan for an additional three Jurisdiction Events and two national Mission u training events originally scheduled from March through May of 2020.
Knowing that your original event date is coming soon, we’d like to offer that you should now go online to cancel your flight reservations, if you made them. The airlines should not be charging a cancellation fee. You need to do this before the travel date. Also the hotels will cancel your reservations according to our registration list. Once the new possible dates are set, you can individually book new hotel reservations for the same rate at that time. Thank you for your patience as we try to get you those new details as soon as possible.
We continue to work diligently to address the new information coming from the US Center for Disease Control and our government representatives each day. Thank you for your continued patience and prayers.
Your Jurisdiction Team
